Admatha Means...

Wild skunk

..."God Given."

We believe that all the animals, plants, and things we have are a gift from God, so we take the best possible care of them. Frequently this hospitality extends to stray and injured animals, the domestic, and the wild.

Respect

All our animals are taught to respect one another. Therefore, it is not uncommon to find dogs and cats grooming each other, a hen raising a mixed-species clutch or our pot-belly pig snuggling with a goat.

Community

We are also committed to community, especially teens. Our barn is a frequent haunt of neighborhood children and youth from our church. They come to see the animals, gather eggs, earn extra money cleaning stalls, or watch our kids, watch goats being born or ducks hatch, or just to talk.

Purpose

Everyone has a purpose here. Everyone knows how they fit in. Even our Chihuahua found his niche as a stock dog! If you're looking for purpose, or just want to talk to someone, don't hesitate to call or e-mail.

There are no strangers -- only friends we haven't met yet!
